Prequalifications are invited for Realization of Infrastructure Works (BTP and Hydraulics) Realization of Hydraulic Infrastructure. The United States of America, acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (“MCC”) and the Government of Niger (the “Government”) have signed a Compact for assistance under the Millennium Challenge Account in the amount of approximately US$437.024 million (the “MCC Funding”) to contribute to poverty reduction through economic growth in Niger, (the “Compact”). The Government, acting through MCA-Niger (the “MCA Entity” and the “Employer”), intends to use a portion of the MCC Funding for payments authorized under the contract for which this Notice of Application call for tenders has been issued. Any payment made under the proposed contract will be subject, in all respects, to the terms of the contract and related documents, including restrictions on the use and distribution of MCC Funding. No party other than the Government and the Client may rely on the Compact or claim the proceeds of the MCC Funding.
