Description:
As part of its Niger-Unicef 2023-2027 cooperation program, the Wash component implements several programs in order to contribute to the results of the sectoral water, hygiene and sanitation program (Proseha 2017-2030) which constitutes the frame of reference for all interventions of sector for the achievement of SDGs in Niger. Proseha defines the objectives of improving access to Wash services in health schools and training and improving hygiene practices in public spaces, institutions and households. Accelerating sanitation and programs Water for all, Phase III (Aswa III) in the regions of Tahoua, Maradi and Zinder, funded by the DGIS/Netherlands, and Strengthening the Resilience of Internally Displaced Populations in Niger Through Sustainable and Equitable Access to Wash Services in the regions of Diffa, Tahoua and Agadez Sous Financing of Denmark are the programs concerned by this study. The objective of these programs is to contribute to the improvement of health, nutrition, resilience of communities, the resolution and reduction of conflicts thanks to access to the EHA services to climate, the Strengthening municipal systems and the systematization of the measurement and sustainability of the results.
